Something about Sottomarina...

Sottomarina beach is about 10 Km long, and it can reach a 300 m depth in some areas. It is well-known and appreciated all the coast along because of its sand, which is very fine and because of its chemical and physical properties, of its mild and regular wind which make it particular suited for wellness treatments and for a lasting, deep tan.
Its wide strand is the perfect place to relax and make long walks. Children will enjoy playing on the strand.

A bridge links Sottomarina to Chioggia, which has a very particular urban structure: it is usually known as "the little Venice" because of its urban aspect, with lots of little picturesque canals where many coloured ship boats
moor. |
|
Cut into many pieces by canals, linked by bridges, it has a fish bone structure: narrow lanes (calli) go perpendicularly the main road, Corso del popolo, and open up with little lively
squares.

Nobel palaces overlooking the water,
boats, bridges and canals make it a very interesting and worth seeing town.
